5 FALL ESSENTIALS 2020

Hi lovelies,

I hope y’all had a productive week, I did. Before I dive into today’s post, I want to say thank you to those who subscribed to my newsletter and if you haven’t subscribers, kindly do.

It’s getting colder/darker and I see lots people are dressing down for no reason. Well people in Scandinavia usually dress down in winter (even in summer 😀). Today’s post will help you to stay alive and stylish this fall/winter.

First up is BLAZER. A clean blazer will help you stay stylish, you can pair it with dress or pants.

I wore blazer to dinner last night. Buy it here

LEATHER SKIRTS: Pleated, Fringe , wrap or mini leather Skirt are one of falls 2020 essentials. I am not a fan of leather skirt but I will be wearing a wrap leather skirt with a nice knee boots this season. If you choose to join the trend, style the leather skirt with a nice shirt or cashmere Knit so it doesn’t look trashy. We only do classy!

THE CLUTH BAG( grab & go): To keep your style alive this season you need to add a clutch bag to your bag collection.

LOUNGE WEAR: The image of Anna Wintour wearing a pair of red tracksuit bottoms went viral in April, those attuned to the latest trends got a cue on how personal style choices will pan out in the coming months. Since then, loungewear has become everything. I have always been a fan of nice lounge wear.

THE NEW JEAN SHAPE: skinny jeans is no longer in trend, I personally have disposed most of my skinny jeans. I find them extremely uncomfortable (they are cute and I know skinny jeans will make a come back). I think people are more into something that will make them look comfortable and feel comfortable. High rise/high waist jeans has been in trend for a while and it’s also fall 2020 essential.

These countries welcomes international tourists

Hi lovelies,

Thank God it’s Friday. I hope you all had a marvelous week. I am currently on my way to the UK. As you all know I love traveling, fashion and traveling is my thing. I have been recently asked many times which countries can tourists travel to at the moment, due to the ongoing pandemic. There has been different restrictions for different countries lately, so I took my time to check some countries that I know might interest my readers who are willing to travel in the upcoming weeks . Firstly I have to say rules and regulations are being changed from time to time so I will recommend you check the country’s website

Here are some countries welcoming tourists

MALTA 🇲🇹

Malta reopened for tourism in July in two phases: initially allowing residents from 22 European countries to visit from July 1, followed by travellers from everywhere else on July 15. Visitors aren’t required to self-quarantine upon arrival, but can expect thermal screenings. Arrivals must also fill in a self-declaration form that includes details of their movement for the last 30 days.

GREECE 🇬🇷

Greece is one of the warmest countries in Europe, luckily the temperature stays warm till end of December. COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) are required for entry for some travelers. Refer to travel.gov.gr for detailed information on PCR test requirements, depending on departure point and port of entry into Greece.

MALDIVES 🇲🇻

From 15th July , tourists from all destinations have been allowed to travel to the Maldives., All arrivals must be able to present a Covid-19 PCR negative certificate, taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure. Island hopping, or visiting more than one resort, which was previously banned, has also been permitted again from September 10.

ZANZIBAR TANZANIA 🇹🇿

Zanzibar is one of my favorite places. I visited two years and I was so stunned by the beauty of the place and by the culture of the country, and ofc the friendliness of the people. The good news is Tanzanian has reopened the country for all international tourists. The 14 day mandatory quarantine for visitors entering the country has also been lifted. You can watch my Zanzibar vlog Here

ST LUCIA

This country is on my on list. I’ll be visiting soon. luckily international tourist are welcome.

BRAZIL 🇧🇷

If you missed this years Rio carnival, there’s possibility that the carnival will hold next year February, cos all international tourists are now welcome. I will be there, it’s time for some Samba, lol.

Lastly All African countries welcome international tourist, but you have to show your COVID-19 test results on arrival.

Ok that’s it for today’s post. Wishing y’all a lovely weekend. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @debralicious .

Another shoe trend on my list today is the Prada boots. I call it influencers boots, lol. 99% of the influencers I follow on Instagram have posted this boot on their story/timeline. Next on my list today is this cute ankle boots from Valentino. I’m a huge fan of Valentino. I have at least six pairs of Valentino shoes. I find them very comfortable and stylish. I’m definitely buying this shoe. I am contemplating on buy the beige color but the black color will go with everything.

Last on my list today is the One and only cutest strap heels I have seen this year. Amina Muaddi shoes is not new to the shoe industry but I didn’t join the party on time. I love this color and it fits for fall. This will be my party shoe this fall.

Chanel shopping spree

Hello lovelies,

I hope y’all are having a great week & thank God it’s Friday!. This week has been a super busy week for me. I will be busy all weekend, but I’m not complaining cos it’s all for a cause.

I recently visited Chanel store in Stockholm and bought myself a Chanel shoe and bag. I am not new to Chanel, I bought a Chanel jumbo flap Lamb skin bag 3 years ago but I sold it after two weeks, cos it was too big for my style.

Ever since then I didn’t bother to buy another Chanel bag. I was actually going for a Hermès Kelly 25 bag, but It is not available. Well it’s at least a year or two on a waiting list if you are going to a Hermès Kelly bag directly from Hermès. I will wait, cos I don’t want to spent so much money and end up buying the fake from a retailer.

I bought a Chanel small flap Caviar skin in Stockholm . I’m so pleased with the purchase. Even though the price of Chanel increased drastically this year. The bag I bought was 4600 dollars earlier this year. I should have bought it then, anyways I paid 6400 dollars for it. I deserve it. I’m a good girl, lol. Well my shopping spree didn’t end there, lol. I went ahead and bought a Chanel shoe. Why not? Life is for living and living is doing what makes you happy.

What a babe right?, lol .

If you want to see more of my Chanel shopping spree, I posted a video on my YouTube channel” Unboxing Chanel . Have a look. https://youtu.be/14RYsUzGdVg

Y’all have a great weekend . I will see y’all next Friday right here.

5 social media clothing brands you shouldn’t buy!

Hey lovelies!

How’s your week going? Mine is going as well. Last night I had a conversation with some friends on the phone (group call) about them being mislead by Instagram bloggers, lol.

Let me break it down for y’all…. instagram is a place where bloggers use to make awareness for clothing, shoes and cosmetics brands. The idea is for bloggers to convince you to like and buy the product. What you don’t know is 95% of the pictures and videos bloggers post on Instagram are 100% edited. We all edit our pictures to make it look finer and better but bloggers editing is extreme. They make cheap cloths look like expensive.

I bought a trouser pant few months ago, which I saw on a blogger. Firstly it took them 3 weeks to deliver my order but on their website states it takes 5 working days.

Secondly they lied about their location. It’s located in China not United Kingdom. I saw it on the delivery address.

Thirdly my expectations was high but when my order finally arrived I was really disappointed. Well the name of the clothing brand is Missyempire. I experienced same thing with Chicwish 4 years ago.

We all know how Americans celebrities and bloggers hyped “fashion nova”. Trust me the quality is below poor.

I prefer quality to quantity. We all know quality last longer. Buying all this cheap Instagram brands won’t save you no money. Be wise!

Here are the list of 5 clothing brands you shouldn’t buy!

  • Chicwish
  • Parisian_wholesale
  • Fashion nova
  • Misspap
  • Missyempire

Thanks for reading. Have a fabulous Thursday y’all.
